This script is parody of the popular TV court shows. Who can better testify to the birth of Christ than an actual eyewitness, the sheep whom was in the manger. Shirley the Sheep is suing Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer claiming that the Reindeer stole the true meaning of Christmas.

Marsha asked her sister Audrey to camp out all night to receive a free gift. Audrey loves to shop during the holiday season, so she’s eager to join Marsha, especially after the sales from Black Friday. After hours of camping on the street Audrey realizes that they are camping in front of a church. Marsha comes to explain that she wants Audrey to receive the most important gift of all, the free gift of salvation.

Mary and Joseph marvel over the gifts and words from the Wise Men. They now realize that Jesus is more than just their son, He is the promised King.

George refuses to play the role of Santa Claus at the church Christmas party because he feels unappreciated. However, after he realizes how much Jesus sacrificed for us, even though he was not appreciated, George has a change of heart.

During the Christmas season the world celebrates the birth of Jesus…the first coming of Christ. But one day, Jesus will come again into the world. This reader’s theater script contrasts the differences between the first coming of Jesus and his promised return.

During the season of Advent, Christians celebrate the coming of the Christ. This is not just a time to commemorate Jesus’ first coming, but a time of preparation for His second coming.
