Giving/Tithing
Black History – Year 2216
It’s the year 2216 and a group of elementary school students are visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture. As the Tour Guide shares information about key African Americans from the 21st century, she also shares information about the greatest African American from the 22nd century, Charles Milton. Charles Milton is a fictitious future African American.
No-Risk Investment
A husband and wife visit a financial planner. As a result of some bad investment decisions and the decline in the economy, the couples’ investments are nearly gone. After listening to their concerns, the financial planner recommends a little used program: the P.B.I.P. (Personal Blessing Investment Program).
Dishonest Giving
Satan (who happens to be in church today) tries to persuade a church member to lie about the status of her giving (tithing). This is a humorous yet convicting presentation that addresses one of the most sensitive subjects in today’s church: dishonest giving.
Save Your Dollars
The Dollar Family is having the funeral for Grandpa-1 Dollar. Grandpa’s grand-children (Shopper-50 Dollars, Vacationer-100 Dollars, and Drinker-20 Dollars) show up for Grandpa’s funeral. They feel very uncomfortable because they haven’t been in church in years. However, they are touched by the Pastor’s eulogy. Each Dollar decides to be “saved” (donated to church).
