God’s Grace
Mary and Elizabeth
Pregnancies today may not be as miraculous as Mary’s and Elizabeth’s; however, all pregnancies are gifts from God. In this beautiful sketch, the virgin Mary goes to visit Elizabeth and they proclaim the joy of their pregnancy through a musical duet.
The Christmas Chair
A warehouse employee is taking a post-holiday inventory of Christmas props when she approaches Santa’s Christmas Chair. The chair brings back memories of her childhood and how she placed her faith in Santa to supply her needs. Now that she is an adult, she realizes that she must have the same child-like faith and trust in Jesus. This sketch is a great post-Christmas presentation.
A Touch of Faith
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. This Readers Theatre script parallels the lives of two women; the biblical woman who suffered with bleeding for 12 years; and the modern day woman who is suffering with breast cancer. They recount their struggle to deal with their condition and reflect on how they came to a decision to put their faith in Jesus for their healing. This is a great script to perform in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Imagine a King
Mary and Joseph marvel over the gifts and words from the Wise Men. They now realize that Jesus is more than just their son, He is the promised King.
Spiritual Matrix
This is a take-off of the popular movie, “The Matrix”. Neo is a successful businessman who praises himself for his accomplishments. However, his encounter with Morpheus and Trinity reveal that he is having a Matrix Experience. The true reality is that God controls everything. It’s only because of God’s grace and mercy we can achieve anything in life.
Advent Reading
TLS0030During the season of Advent, Christians celebrate the coming of the Christ. This is not just a time to commemorate Jesus’ first coming, but a time of preparation for His second coming. This readers theater presentation is split into five separate readings; one reading for each of the four Sundays leading to Christmas and one reading for Christmas Eve. This is a powerful presentation to promote the true spirit of the Advent season in our heart and its relevance to our life.
