Life Challenges
Thanksgiving Guests
Wanda is ready to enjoy a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving dinner at home when she is joined by two unwelcome guests, her “Problems” and “Worries”. Soon, Wanda’s “problems” and “worries” convince her that she has nothing to be thankful for. Suddenly, three more unexpected, but welcomed, guests arrive… “Love”, “Peace”, and “Mercy”.
The Non-Argument
Often times, married couples find themselves in the midst of a serious argument over something trivial. This comedy sketch focuses on how easy it is for couples to fall into an argument over nothing. Great script for a couple conference or ministry.
The Mask
TLS0053Most of us (Christians) struggle to overcome personal hurts, bad habits, and hang-ups. This Reader’s Theatre piece exposes the false persona, (the “mask”) we wear to disguise how we are really doing. It examines why we wear a mask; what’s the impact of wearing our mask; and how we can remove our mask and recover for the sin and pain in our life.
A Father’s Time
TLS0033Charles is a workaholic and spends very little time with his family. From the time his son was born to the time his son became a teenager Charles put his job responsibilities ahead of the parenting responsibilities. As a result, he failed to recognize and heed to the warning signs that ultimately lead to the tragic death of his son.
Valentine for Jesus
TLS0028Love relationships, particularly marriage relationships, are accentuated on Valentines Day. We thank our partners for their love, patience, forgiveness, and support, especially when we did not deserve it. However, the most important love relationship is between Christ and the body of believers (the church). This Readers Theater presentation shares a Valentine wish to the bridegroom of the church, Jesus Christ.
