Your Blessing Is Waiting
Three people (dressed as boxes) are sitting on the loading dock. They are physical manifestations of “God’s blessings” waiting to be delivered to their recipients. However, their deliverance is contingent on the recipient’s obedience to God.
The church anniversary committee is having their first meeting. As they begin to make plans for the anniversary, they are unable to come to agreement on anything. They decide to form a sub-committee each time they can’t agree. By the end of their meeting they feel they have make great progress when in reality they haven’t made any progress at all.
A boxer with one-eye is engaged in a boxing match. He is fighting against his problems and temptations. He doesn’t believe he can win. He’s ready to “throw in the towel”. However, his trainer encourages him to fight back using the Word of God.
Whose Responsibility Is It?
Church members are selected to participate in the #1 Christian Game Show in the country. They will determine whose responsibility it is to support church ministries and carry on the work of Christ. Unfortunately, none of them provide the correct answers.
Mr. Andrews is in need of hope. He is struggling through life and doesn’t know where to turn. He calls the Hope Hot-line looking for answers. He talks with Prayer and agrees to place his hope in God, but when his needs are not met, after a few weeks, he calls back to talk with Prosperity, then Possessions. Nine months later, his life is worse than before and he comes to realize Prayer’s advice (to put his faith in God) was right all along.
We all need insurance; for our home, car, and life. However, the Harris’ soon realize they are missing the most important insurance of all; insurance to guarantee their soul will go to heaven when they die.
