Thanksgiving Guests
Wanda is ready to enjoy a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving dinner at home when she is joined by two unwelcome guests, her “Problems” and “Worries”. Soon, Wanda’s “problems” and “worries” convince her that she has nothing to be thankful for. Suddenly, three more unexpected, but welcomed, guests arrive… “Love”, “Peace”, and “Mercy”.
Top Priority
Mary and Bill surmise that their bible knowledge is severely lacking after playing a bible trivia game at the church. They decide to commit to studying the bible. Unfortunately, they can’t seem to find an acceptable time in their busy schedule to study God’s word.
Unappreciated Santa
George refuses to play the role of Santa Claus at the church Christmas party because he feels unappreciated. However, after he realizes how much Jesus sacrificed for us, even though he was not appreciated, George has a change of heart.
Jonah
This modern day Jonah encounters the same experiences as the biblical Jonah; running from God and being swallowed by a large fish for three days. Like the original Jonah, today’s Jonah finally acknowledges God’s call for him to proclaim the Word of God.
Spiritual Matrix
This is a take-off of the popular movie, “The Matrix”. Neo is a successful businessman who praises himself for his accomplishments. However, his encounter with Morpheus and Trinity reveal that he is having a Matrix Experience. The true reality is that God controls everything. It’s only because of God’s grace and mercy we can achieve anything in life.
The Non-Argument
Often times, married couples find themselves in the midst of a serious argument over something trivial. This comedy sketch focuses on how easy it is for couples to fall into an argument over nothing. Great script for a couple conference or ministry.
