Sketch

Charles is a workaholic and spends very little time with his family. From the time his son was born to the time his son became a teenager Charles put his job responsibilities ahead of the parenting responsibilities. As a result, he failed to recognize and heed to the warning signs that ultimately lead to the tragic death of his son.

Jack is so consumed by the football game he fails to notice that Jesus is actually speaking to him. Jesus uses the sport of football as an allegory to explain the role of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in our life today. This is a great sketch to perform during the football season.

Three members of the church meet to determine what gift to give their Pastor. Unable to come to an agreement after frustrating (and comical) deliberations, a young child recommends they agree to give him the best gift of all…their prayers.
