Valentine's Day

This script is a parody of the popular TV show “The Dating Game”. An attractive single female is looking for the perfect mate. One bachelor appeals to her body, one appeals to her mind, and the last bachelor, Jesus, appeals to her heart. Who will she choose?

Love relationships, particularly marriage relationships, are accentuated on Valentines Day. We thank our partners for their love, patience, forgiveness, and support, especially when we did not deserve it. However, the most important love relationship is between Christ and the body of believers (the church). This Readers Theater presentation shares a Valentine wish to the bridegroom of the church, Jesus Christ.
